Official Rules for the Million Dollar Hunt

Offical Rules

You must be 18 years or older to play. NO EXCEPTIONS
Application process
- Prospective contestants must fill out an application to compete.
  1. Applications are free.
  2. At no time will contestants be required to give any financial consideration for their involvement in the contest.
- Prospective contestants will be sent a validation email after completion of the application.
- The email address provided must be validated within 24 hours of application completion.
Contest beginning date and time
- The contest will begin on August 4, 2006 at 6:00 PM MST. Contest start date/time is subject to change. All contestants will receive notification of the start of the contest by email prior to the start of the contest.
Contest
- Start of contest
  1. The first clue will be available on the Producer's website (www.milliondollarwebhunt.com) on August 4, 2006 at 6:00 PM MST. Contest start date/time is subject to change.
- How contest will run
  1. For every clue issued, there will be a corresponding sponsor website that will need to be found.
  2. Contestants will need to search the corresponding sponsor's website for the Access Key.
  3. Once the corresponding Access Key is found and selected, users will be prompted to enter their email and password to receive the corresponding question.
  4. QUESTIONS
    1. The final list of question and response types with their corresponding consequences will be posted at a later time.
  5. Contestants will be prompted to enter the correct answer for the corresponding question.
  6. Once the contestant has answered the question correctly, the contestant will be eligible to receive the next clue.
- End of contest
  1. The contest will run until the first eligible contestant that has correctly answered all questions, can be verified.
- Award of prize
  1. The prize will be awarded at a place and time decided at the sole discretion of the Producers.
  2. The prize will be the amount of money raised from sponsors less the cost of running the contest (as dictated by the Producers), up to $1,000,000.00.
  3. With the sole exception of a tie, the prize will be awarded to a single individual. No other exceptions will be allowed.
  4. The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to respond to claim the prize.
- Information disclosure
  1. Contestants are not allowed to disclose information regarding clues, sponsor websites, access keys locations, or any of the corresponding questions and/or answers
  2. Any contestant found to be disclosing any of the above information will be disqualified.
